About Chad Burton
When things 'go as planned,' it gets boring. That is why Chad enjoys working with entrepreneurs and their team to guide their business when it takes unexpected twists and turns, and may encounter a few or more bumps. Even when everything seems normal, planning ahead is important.
Chad works with startups to established companies as outside general counsel. His love and knowledge of tech creates a good fit with clients in the technology arena.
Before founding Burton Law, Chad worked in the BigLaw world primarily involved in complex business litigation. While he still gets fired up for a good business dispute, Chad has taken those skills to help clients grow their business and to try and avoid costly court actions.
Chad was part of the 2014 Fastcase 50 class of global legal innovators. The firm also received the 2012 ALM award for Most Innovative Use of Technology for Firms
